thank you for this description. i had a green annie, she was 17 feet and very quick tempered. she tagged the back of my arm once and i have been searching for a good description of what it felt like for a very long time. fire like no other. miles was a beautiful snake, but 17 pissed off feet was too much for my wife to handle, so off to a herp she went.

death, in relation to the christian faith, isnt a bad thing for christians. you get to go to heaven. the sick part sucks, but one could make the argument that the given illness is a mechanism to provide a final test to the afflicted, or to provide an inspiration to others that see continued faith through adversity. this argument actually reinforces the tenet that you are to use your life, not only to worship god, but to minister to those who haven't yet come to believe.
i say all of this under the hope that you are asking from a place of interest, and not of scorn or disrespect. there are a lot of trolls in these parts...

40 or so teeth at half an inch long. so. much. blood. it wasnt even the clamping that hurt, but the impact, followed by the waiting to let her let go instead of trying to pull my arm out of her mouth. it was only about a second, but it felt like years. imagine a fast pich softball covered in tacks hitting you on the tricep, then waiting for it to fall out on its own.

20 minutes must have been hell. Did you purchase fresh kill or buy live and do the deed yourself? The Annie was always live fed. She wouldn't eat anything else. She loved ducks, by the way. And I had a cat...

upvote for cool story and hard learned shop safety lesson. had a shop teacher working on a lathe lose his middle finger. went to check it for smoothness and a knot came around and caught his fingertip. the whole finger came off at the first joint and pulled the muscle out through his hand. blood everywhere and this strange fapping sound as what was left wrapped around the wood hit the bench rest. as the nerves came back to you, did you notice a hypersensitivity in areas that were numb before?
