What's a wet dream like now?

IANAD, but had SBK LASIK a few years back and research it a bit before. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intralase_SBK

  1. With SBK, a thin flap is cut & pulled back, the correction is made, & the flap is placed back. There is risk of flap detachment from physical activity, but from what I was told & read, it would not be a problem after a year. A different procedure, like PRK, does not cut a flap, but takes a significant amount of time to heal from and is not comfortable (a coworker went that route)
  2. After healing, there's been no issue for me & I know of 5 others that also have no issues except minor halos. No one I've talked to has been unsatisfied with the modern procedures.
  3. Eye drops and protective sleepwear for the first month. Routine checkups after.
  4. I am a programmer & I've not had any problems.
