I have no idea how to word this without possibly coming across as a terrible person to some one, but believe me when I say I mean this entirely in the most positive way, and that I absolutely love an adore your show. (Deep breath) So, here I go:

I think the way you two handle race humor is brilliant. A big part of Chappelle's problem was that the wrong people were taking his jokes seriously, or as validation of racist beliefs -a kind of "see, hey, they laugh about it, so it must be okay/true/okay for us to make fun of it too" situation, with a lot of different issues, which would have driven me crazy if I had been in his position.

It is nothing if not absolutely clear in every skit, joke, and character what you're saying/parodying/poking fun at. That goes a long way from keeping the show from getting bogged down in being focused around purely racial issues/stereotypes, and I think a lot of people don't appreciate what a big deal that is, especially where there's so much societal push to typecast TV personalities based on race.

When Lupe Fiasco's 'bitch bad' made it to the front of Reddit the other day, my first thought was Bling Benzy & da struggle. It means a lot to me - and I'm sure many others - that two obviously talented and intelligent men, as well as a fantastic staff of writers, are working so hard to make people laugh without playing it cheap and/or going the easy route.

You guys are amazing, and I look forward to more of the quality humor I've come to expect. Thanks for doing what you do.

My only question(s): Do you like horror movies, and if so, which is your favorite?

It could be that there's a significant subscriber base that actually, really, sincerely reads Playboy for the articles. They pull in interviews and written pieces with/by a lot of different people, as well as stories, etc. It's not just straight-up porn, it's a periodical that happens to have some nude pics in it.

If I'm not terribly mistaken, when Stephen King was just starting out he used to submit stories to Playboy and other 'skin mags.' I know people who collect Playboys and display them proudly on shelves - which, to me, seems entirely justified. It's good reading.
