You are going to have to lawyer up. You aren't going to get that doctor to pay for his mistake by asking him too. Especially if he has said he can fix it.

Have you tried to make yourself hyperventilate? That will sometimes "reset" the diaphragm.

If not I always use the "hold your breath trick". Its goes a like something like this:

Step 1: Inhale as much air as possible into your lungs and continue to hold it in while completing the steps 2-4.

Step 2: After 30 seconds take another breath as deep as possible(it will be more than you think)

Step 3: 10 seconds later take another breath and continue to hold

Step 4: 10 seconds later take your third and final breath(it won't be much) and hold it as long as possible until you are forced to exhale.

Step 5: Give me reddit gold for curing your hiccups.
