Crystal balls are only so accurate. It will probably take 12-15 years to find out what Obamacare cost/saved over the first 10 years and even then those numbers will fluctuate and be twisted and massaged depending on whether you support/oppose/are apathetic about Obamacare.

But the point is that the best mostly non-politically motivated people who evaluate these things say that Obamacare will be a net benefit to everyone, and at worst will be financially neutral. For every dollar spent we'll get more than a dollar back and any honest evaluator realizes this.

It's entirely likely that an individual will be worse off than another individual, but with a plan like this, individual experiences are mostly useless because it's the net benefit as a nation that counts and not one individual.

I imagine that, similar to me when I was younger (I'm in my mid-30's now) he is, in fact, invincible and therefore goes to the doc-in-the-box for the occasional bout of the sniffles and pays maybe a couple of hundred dollars per year for Rx's and doctor's appointments.

Or maybe he has some sort of catastrophe plan that pays -0- for preventative but will cover you in the event of an emergency. Those plans can get pretty cheap.

Insurance will probably have no value or meaning for him until he (like me) gets clipped on his bike, flies through the air and dislocates his shoulder or (like me) discovers he has a pre-existing medical condition that has essentially no effect on his life except for the fact it raises my insurance rates. Or he gets married and has kids or gets ball cancer or a dozen other things

Yeah, Obamacare makes things a little tougher for healthy males between 26 and 34 and small business owners who have 50-100 employees. But that is a small, small price to pay to make healthcare more accessible to millions of Americans who have been priced out of the system for decades and are suffering because of it.

...but you didn't answer the question. You just spouted some gibberish about how the value of bitcoin is highly susceptible to wild fluctuations and completely failed to cover the causes or concerns over the most recent drop - even going so far as to add some weird, flourishy non sequitor avian metaphor. If you're a bitcoin expert, why don't you provide your perspective on the circumstances surrounding this most recent downward revaluation.
