I think I know what you mean. There are people who walk around so soulless and incapable of seeing consequences of certain actions. Even in sight of those consequences they bear no remorse.

I'm going to allow my SO to start a business while I work my ass off to cover her. :)

Funny, but expressively in terms of allow. Allowing doesn't imply owning the person's action. There are things I have to have her allow me to do because I care for her opinion on the choices I make.

I'm glad you're being competitive, a business doesn't succeed without competition. Monopolies get lazy and fail perpetually then get swept under the carpet the second another company does something similar better.
