Agreed. But the guy said he doesn't remember anything leading up to the crash despite evidence that he accelerated into the turn. Secondly, he spent a decade on internet forums complaining about train safety standards being shit. This to me sounds like somebody who did it on purpose, to perhaps make a change in the infrastructure. Just wondering how the fuck somebody could (even by sheer negligence) get away with killing/hurting that many people.

Hey there, been wondering about this for a while, even though the news hasn't said anything lately about the Philly Train crash... what are you thoughts? My own impression of the event is that the conductor did it on purpose.... With your knowledge of Amtrak, what do you think is the most likely reason for the crash to have happened?
