I think you being 17 has a lot to do with it. That's a very young age for men and women to know exactly who they are or what they want. Especially under your circumstances. I think because you have a women's reproductive system
Its a matter of hormones. Me being a woman I didn't really care to much about the opposite sex when I was your age. I think everything will be fine if you just trust your gut and put yourself and your needs first... I think if your not completely happy with the surgery I would just wait. But I have a question,wouldn't getting the surgery help you figure out who you were as a woman? I feel like I'd be really confused to have male AND female genitals..
