I lived with a family whose daughter was his daughter's best friend. After sleepovers, he'd bring her home Saturday mornings (often) passed out in his arms. Very surreal seeing a Hummer pull up & the Terminator get out and carry a little girl to the front door. He & Maria are both two of the nicest, most down to earth people. I never thought to ask him to help with homework though.

Can you calculate the odds that President Obama didn't plagiarize MA Governor, Deval Patrick's 2006 Gubernatorial speech when he delivered nearly the same speech word for word while campaigning for the Presidency in 2008 in Milwaukee? Or, that President Obama plagiarized George W. Bush's 2007 State of the Union Address, when he gave his 2014 State of the Union Address? Or, that he borrowed from nearly a dozen speeches to craft his 2011 Address?

Whatever you do, if you have a hot wife one day, don't name your daughter Stacey! Trust me.

Thank you. That's what I thought I understood, but figured I'd ask rather than assume. I'm from the south, and I was taught my entire life that the Civil War was about state's rights and legislation from the North that siphoned money from the south by raising tariffs on farm equipment, forcing Southerners to buy more expensive equipment from the North. I'm sure those things played a role, but it's been interesting as I get older to see how much of what I learned was just revisionist bull.

Thanks for the reply. One question you didn't address, what frustrating inconveniences do you deal with as a result of your commitment to reducing your waste? Example: I have a commitment to reducing the amount of petroleum I consume (whether it's buying plastics or using gas, etc). So, I sold my car & walk a lot of places. I love walking. But, walking on a hot, sticky day sucks. What are the frustrations & inconveniences you deal with?
