For anyone just joining us I'd like to do a quick rundown on Eric "I don't need to obey Federal elections laws" Gurr's campaign positions.
Syria
Without a doubt the situation in Syria is the biggest threat imminent threat to American security and prosperity. Bumbling haphazardly into war is never advisable. A world awash in debt and rhetoric is a world where a regional conflict could quickly devolve into a world war and collapse of trade.
Please explain how Syria could "quickly devolve into a world war". No go ahead I'll wait.
Affordable Care Act (AKA Obamacare)
Speaker Boehner and others in the GOP leadership are taking quite a bit of hit for failure to defund Obamacare. The reality is the House has voted several times to defund only to be blocked by the Democrats in the Senate. If we can't win the war it is at least time to start winning some battles.
How will you, replacing Boehner, do anything different? You know you won't be taking over as speaker, right? You'll just be a junior congressman. You'll have no real power.
Fiscal and Economic Policy One of the reasons we continue to experience such anemic recovery in the economy is uncertainty. As a small business owner this has affected me directly. Obamacare and other regulations and the pace of change of these regulations make it exceedingly difficult to plan for the future. Bad economic policy coupled with increased spending and taxes has further restrained recovery and growth.
Please explain the crippling regulations that are personally affecting your "computer consulting business".
Also, fyi, the deficit is the smallest it's been since Obama took office. Please explain how this is "increased spending".
Immigration reform and Amnesty I do not support the immigration bill. I believe it is amnesty and would be a terrible blow to jobs and the tepid recovery in housing.
Please explain how amnesty would affect the "tepid recovery in housing".
Monetary Policy Milton Friedman was one of the first to suggest that one of the driving causes of the depth and duration of the Great Depression was bad monetary policy. Ben Bernanke is in agreement with Friedman and has pushed a reflation strategy. When the supply of money shrinks rapidly after an assett bubble pops it does make sense to increase the money supply. The current reflation attempt is not the best way to do this. These policies have resulted in more money for banks and more money for congress to spend but little for middle class America.
Let's just take your shitty worshiping of Friedman at face value and say you're correct (you're not). What would you do different?
IRS Scandal Like many of my fellow Republicans (and Independents) I was shocked at the politicization of the IRS. The recent "smoking gun" email from Lois Lerner promises to keep this scandal at the forefront. This is as it should be and I think we could all use a little more passion from our congressional representatives as well as the GOP leadership. The IRS is already the most frightening organization in the U.S. government. Using the power of that body to intimidate citizens is unacceptable.
Bush did it too. I don't recall any conservatives calling for his impeachment when that happened.
Benghazi Four Americans were murdered at a state department building in a foreign nation. No help was sent to attempt to rescue these brave souls. If this is not a scandal what is?
Listen to me you chickenhawk piece of shit. Thirteen embassy and consulate attacks happened under bush, killing ten times as many people as Bengzhai. You insult the memory of the dead by invoking them in your shitty little campaign.
I'm not going to bother with the rest. You're a fucking joke.
edit:
couple other things.
According to the FEC.gov's disclosure page, you twice donated to Boehner's campaign. Doesn't this make you a flip-flopper?
Also according to the FEC's candidate search page, you indeed haven't registered with the FEC. This is a violation of federal law. Now, according to that site in order to report you I have to send in a notarized letter in triplicate (lol). That sounds like a huge pain in the ass. On the other hand, you sound like a douche bag. Maybe I'll go ahead and do that. And before you go taking down that paypal link I've already got a screenshot.

I just wanted to say Gattaca and Lord of War are my two of my favorite movies. Mr. Hawke, any plans on working with Andrew Niccol again in the future?
edit: Also Mr. Linklater - I've heard sporadic rumors for years that you'd be returning to Dazed and Confused for a follow up. Any truth to that?

I don't know if it's been mentioned (and I'm not a lawyer or an accountant) but you may very well have to pay taxes on that 500K. The IRS generally taxes on winnings, not earnings, so, you know, FYI.

Cross posting this from the other thread since I think I got it in there too late.
Neil-
Some critics of you and the seduction community assert that there is an undercurrent of misogyny in the community. Do you think this criticism is warranted?
In your own experience with the community, do you think any of those practicing PUA had or have psychological issues?
