Question from my friend, a huge Scrubs fan.

How much of the JD/Turk bromance was an original idea for the direction of the show, and how much of it was a reaction to their friendship in real life?

Just to add to this. I remember in high school the time I showed up to a sports training facility to help me get in shape for basketball season. During my session there was a girl who was probably about 14 years old, and it looked like she was training too. We started doing some work on plyometrics with a lot of box jumping and this girl flat out killed me in the drills. I was huffing and puffing within the first 5 minutes and she jumped through the drills like it was nothing.

Afterwards, I went to the water fountain during a break. As soon as I raised my head and look up at the wall, I saw that exact same girl I was just working out with. She happened to be a figure skater and it was a feature article on her that the facility had a copy of and posted.

In short: Figure skaters are ridiculously athletic.
