Have you ever sailed in the great lakes? Here in Milwaukee our only tall ship is the Denis Sullivan, a pretty schooner, and its damn near to get a crew spot

Sadly I have, they always seem to be full. I really want to help on their annual fall sail down to Florida for the winter, I think it would be a wonderful experience.

I see idiots on ebikes and scooters blatantly ignoring traffic laws/lights multiple times a week and i suppose the lack of requirements like a goddamn drivers license or insurance are why.

It has a motor, operates on public roads at automobile speeds? Require a fucking license and insurance like every other vehicle that shares the road or make ebikes automatically at fault in traffic incidents liable for all damages barring extenuating circumstance(loss of life, premeditated vehicular assault type things). The lack of accountability is a problem right now that needs fixing, so why not make the chucklefucks pay for the side mirror they knocked off your brand new car or the stitches 9 year old janice has to get cuz they sped through a stop sign and knocked her off the crosswalk?

We put the fault in fender benders automatically on the car in the rear so how is it any different?
