What are your favorite liquids (not limited to liquors) to break the bank for?

I’m in NC and I’ve never seen more than two mezcals for sale in our (government owned) liquor stores.

I imagine the competition in the market helps when it comes to selection. Our ABC stores aren’t terrible (usually) and the bigger ones have a decent selection but they are never blow-your-mind good like some I’ve seen in other states
