While I enjoy your show a ton, I was a bit disappointed with the diet episode because it seemed like you just advocated not counting calories. I've lost weight by watching calorie labels and it worked well (until I stopped watching labels of course).

Would you recommend not using calories for dieting and healthy eating or would you just want people to be skeptical of the numbers and more watchful of what they eat in general?

Congressman Holt, I know you have been very helpful in supporting funding for ALS research, which is important to me. What more can be done in Congress to help advance ALS research and care? Will you continue to be a leader on this and other medical issues should you join the Senate?
