Can you explain what cultural barriers GDI is contending with? I graduated High School in 2006 and in the few programming classes the school had there was maybe 2 girls in a class of 30. In college it was the same thing. I work for an Engineering firm and the STEM world is facing much of the same issue with young women who just don't appear to be interested in joining that segment of the work force. I never understood why there was such a low number of women who wanted to work in these fields, I just assumed disinterest.
