As to what you said, I asked because some hospitals do have weird cultures, especially private versus public ones. I glad that you were served well.

All good. If my money is to be spent propping up Afghanistan or saving sick children, I don't really have a whole lot of problem with this. Still, I absolutely despise this line of thought because over half of the problem is that we don't control medical costs NOR do we actually have sufficient infrastructure. You've been lucky to stay in state but I've dealt with more than one child with severe illnesses that had to travel halfway accross the country for treatment. If even every state had a single hospital capable of handling extreme pediatric cases this problem would be much reduced.
