I'm an American, currently living in Japan. The news we get here in Japan about China is not so much censored as it is...selecively emphasized/ignored by the major media outlets, depending on the kind of news. Then, when I go back home and see the news or check on the internet to see what the rest of the story is, I sometimes find the "real" story to be rather different than what the Japanese news says.
Do you have similar experiences with the Chinese news/media? Do you not watch/read Chinese news?
Also, how would you characterize the "tone" of chinese media toward foreign powers like Japan, The US, England, etc?
