Yeah, the excuse doesn't sit well with me.
I don't see a dedicated unit failing to do their duty due to the colour of a reported suspect's skin.
PC's had no issue enacting stop and search policies even though it was obvious they would have to target black youths if they wanted to stop black youth deaths.
