Virgin has a $20 for 400 min. or $30 for 1500min/1500txt/30MB web on a phone that comes with Opera Mini and Google Maps installed. Free GPS and all.

MetroPCS is running a $25 promotion, but try being a week or two late on the bill. You lose the time. Virgin (prepaid, but acts like a contract) always give you 30 days on all plans, without fail. Sprint service, since Sprint bought Virgin Mobile USA.

---> If you have any form of government assistance (including food stamps), it's free phones (Universal Lifeline) or pay for a smartphone, and $2.50/mo. for service, or $26.50 for unlimited talk/txt.
