What does Noel Fielding smell like?

How do you get into this line of work? I would have liked to have gone into ROV piloting but didn't know what to do or where to go, what advice would you have given to me 5/10 years ago?

Being 25 with a mortgage going back to full time education is almost definitely out the window, might look into part-time study to advance my HND. Thanks for answering and thanks for the advice :)

When I did my first BOSIET course the question of chopper safety came up and one of the older guys said "Look at it this way, home many choppers fly everyday and how many do you hear about crashing?" That was four years ago, such a shame this seems to have been some heli companies professional mind set.

I work onshore for a drilling contractor and am currently weighing up the option to go offshore permanently and the one thing that's throwing a spanner in the works is I have no idea what to take in my bag. So, what the hell am I meant to take? My PPE and 14 pairs of underwear? Also what rig are you on? That sky looks too sunny for up here (Aberdeen represent!), surely you're not in the north sea? :p
