Regardless of one's political leaning, if someone with a lot of influence distributes/promotes misinformation and misunderstanding or even a very shallow view of a complex issue, it is often harmful, at very least to the general understanding of that issue, but often in more substantial ways (i.e. the idea that vaccines are harmful. I have no idea of Limbaugh's stance on this, just a general example).

I think Limbaugh doesn't much care whether what he says is true or not, or over-simplifying or not, and I'd argue this is harmful because many people's opinions are informed by his opinion.

Plenty of liberals do it (think anti-GMO, or the anti-sexual brand of feminism) too.

Do you agree with this Mises.org ethics position that "the parent should not have a legal obligation to feed, clothe, or educate his children" and "the parent should have the legal right not to feed the child, i.e., to allow it to die."

Basically, should the law be forbidden from punishing a parent who allows their child to stave to death, based on the arguments from the linked article?
