I'd be curious to see if anyone can substantiate this! Worst wingman fail ever.

Open plan with shared tables sounds like my worst nightmare. I get seriously stressed out when I don't have my own space, or if other peoples' clutter invades my tidy organization. Also, being around people drains my energy--I collaborate well when I need to, but I'm far more productive when I'm alone.

How do open plan offices accommodate different working styles and personality types?

Bob, I'll follow this up with, how much involvement did you have behind the scenes? Was the role hosting the show primarily presentation, or did you help Norm with any of the construction as well?
