Kids on the beat, kids on the beat... Beat kids! Beat kids!

I love photographing concerts in the Washington DC area. I have a full time job otherwise, but I'd like to take what I'm doing a step further. In my head that would mean labels/bands contacting me to do album covers, band portraits, etc. Now that I have a decent portfolio, what is the best way to get my work to the right people?

And is that a decent path to pursue? Or can you think of something better I should do?
