How the hell were you able to escape?

Hi Robert, i'm a freelance journalist/photographer/videographer and I have so many questions. Feel free to answer any that you feel necessary

1. What is the worst conflict you've been in?
2. What's the worst (whether it be gruesome or whatnot) thing you've seen?
3. What advice do you have for other freelancers to get their stuff published, and become involved and report on situations like Syria?
4. What's it like working with the guys from VICE?
5. What was the first conflict you covered and how did you get involved with it? (i.e, getting there, getting contacts etc..)
6. Do you feel like you've made a difference in the world by reporting on all these conflicts?
7. What is the most rewarding thing you've had or felt from reporting.

You guys absolutely rock for doing this. AoE 2 was and still is by far my favourite game. Me and my dad used to play it together ALL the time. When he got sick with ALS and couldn't walk or talk, he still played it with me and it was one of the few and only things we could bond over. He passed away in June of 2009 and i've been flying solo.

I just want to say thank you. Thank you for giving me the best memories i have of my dad, and with your game. You gave us something that no one else ever has and that means the absolute world to me.

Can't wait to pay off these fucking student loans so i can check out the re-make, you guys ROCK

Do you think the gap between PC gaming and console gaming is closing with the advancement of all the next-gen consoles, or is the disparity between two growing?

Also, how do i work for CNET. I'm awesome, like to drink, and play a lot of video games.
