Fuck right the fuck off. Training citizens how to safely and appropriately interact with the police is the exact opposite of civilization. Cops signed up for this. They are the ones with the power. It is absolutely outrageous that they are given a gun and authorization to use it without adequate training on how to respond to a traffic stop when the driver doesn't have their hands at 10&2.

1. Tax dollars spent on making a person whole, to help them reach their full potential, and become a more productive member of society is a net positive, whatever their job is. Should be more concerned about the tax dollars spent to bomb children and hospitals.

2. If serving in the military were such a privilege, every branch wouldn't need recruiters at every school to trick children into enlisting. The reason suicide rates are so high in the LGBT+ community is because of the overwhelming and unrelenting discrimination they face in every facet of their lives. Veterans similarly face a high suicide rate because of all the trauma they incur while serving and Uncle Sam doesn't give a shit about them once they've served their purpose.
