I just want to that you so much for writing the book. To this day it is the best account of depression I have ever read and really helped me gain a deeper understanding of my issues. I was diagnosed with depression at the age of 10 and tried to commit suicide numerous times between the ages of 14-18. I was put on a myriad of medications and was in therapy for my entire childhood and large portions of my adult life. Your book profoundly affected the way I view my disease, the helplessness, the mood swings, the pity was all described so well. I am 32 now and I still struggle at times but I have a much better handle of my life and I ascribe a good part of that to the lessons I learned reading your book. Thank you so much.
