So glad to hear you're more in the continental tradition of philosophy. I always found PST to have strong existentialist themes. As far as philosophical requests, I think Kierkegaard and Nietzsche are amazing foundation stones for any Torment game. I'd like to throw the radical freedom & humanism of Sartre into the philosophical hat. Also his idea of authenticity, of not using your past as a way of excusing the actions of the present.
I think this quote from Sartre actually speaks to the games' themes pretty well - "Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.”

I love how one of the themes of the TLJ series is struggling with the feeling of being completely ineffectual. It happens to both April at Zoe at the beginning and the end of their respective journeys. This is a pretty unusual even controversial theme for a game. I don't really have a specific question but I'm wondering why you are personally so drawn to this idea?

Reading Clickhole now, some of it really reminds me of PWOT in its heyday. Do you ever miss absurdist/satirical humour from the PWOT days?
