I agree with you. No one that gets fired for performance reasons is going to say "I was evaluated fairly". There is always some feeling that their boss didn't like them, or the system was not fair, or management was poor. The "managers" in this case are former teachers. If they can't be trusted to spot bad teachers, we'll never fire them.

My wife and I got married and she had hsv2. We didn’t do much to avoid transmission at all unless she was having a flair up. It took about 3 years for me to catch it. Looking back, I think we could have even avoided that had she been taking an antiviral or if we had just known a little more. (For example, using lube to avoid any abrasions). It’s really not the end of the world. There’s a really good Adam Ruins Everything on sex and he talks about it.

Yep. I have to listen to the very very end for that.

I run a lot (12 miles a day), but I do it in two runs (6m each). I can't see myself going 100 or 50m in one shot. I'd get cramps or pain or something somewhere! How do you go 100 miles non-stop? Or is walking one mile every 15 enough to keep you going? Most of the guys I read about have some sort of walk:run ratio. I always feel like I should not stop or I'm not running!

I thought there were gene therapies for CF now. Any hope you could participate in a trial?
