Could you chuck more wood than a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

My dad had sudden hearing loss in his right ear about 10 years ago, and has lived with it. He has severe tinnitus and it really has a negative impact on his quality of life. He has normal hearing in his left ear. Do you think he should talk to his doctor about this surgery? I am pretty sure this is the same condition you are talking about. Thanks so much for doing this AMA!!!
