What's stopping us from using crispr to pop the HSA or BSA producing gene into ecoli or another microorganism and just cooking huge baths of the stuff up once up there?

Although, you'd likely need nutrient broths to keep the bacteria alive, unless you had some extremophiles suited to Martian environments... Perhaps the bacteria would produce their own heat to bake themselves into the bricks.

Maybe we wouldn't want to contaminate mars with lab built bacteria.
