For Kevin Hart: You find a lot of comedy in male insecurities, including a famous bit where you express fear that your son will be gay. You praised Frank Ocean at the MTV VMAs in 2012 for having the courage to come out, and recently said in an interview that you don't do jokes any more about gays. What changed your mind on this subject of humor?

Your book Surge has harsh words for Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, stating that he "rightly" offered his resignation after the Abu Ghraib scandal and President Bush was wrong not to accept it. You write that Rumsfeld "demanded a war plan for Iraq predicated on the best-case scenario ... then refused to admit that his assumptions were wrong," which is a disastrous trait for a wartime leader. What are the biggest lessons future Pentagon leaders should learn to avoid being another Rumsfeld?

When you moved to L.A. you promised your wife that if you didn't make it in five years, you'd move back to Seattle. Soup happened in year four. What was it like for you before that, when your master's in acting was being put to use on roles like Quicky the Clown and the dead body on Diagnosis Murder?

You played a child molester in the movie Gardens of the Night and got a lot of praise from critics. How did you decide to take that role, and what was the filming experience like given the abuse you suffered as a child?

Mount Everest is polluted with tons of empty oxygen bottles, climbing gear, food packaging and worse. A National Geographic story this year described "garbage leaking out of the glaciers and pyramids of human excrement." There also are over 200 corpses. What was it like to encounter all of that during your ascent, and do you think something needs to change to restore the beauty of the mountain?
