Godsmack actually started as an AIC cover band. I remember they played a free show with a Metallica cover band in 1997 at The Strand in Providence. ALSO the original "Voodoo" on the Wonder Drug release of all wound up was a direct instrumental rip-off of "Long Gone Day". Man, I fucking hate Godsmack.
