What are your main criteria for pictures of the day?

Would you go back to that school if you could? Have any other colleges/employers offered you a position?

Thank you for both answers. I've enjoyed APOD for many years, and have had so many "wow" moments. For a while it even contributed to my wish to be an astrophysicist! So thank you, so much, for all of your excellent work :)
