What was the moment when you realized "Oh man, this might not be considered a prank and I may be in deeper trouble than I initially thought?"

I would have to say that all Christians should believe the moment you die you see Jesus face-to-face. Because this is what the Bible says and it is what Jesus even said to the sinner nailed on the cross next to him. So anyone who says they are a Christian and believes that they will be asleep until resurrection doesn't understand the Bible.

This is actually what we believe happens to Christ followers and non Christ followers alike. Though there will be a time when all the earth will face judgement and then those in heaven will be given resurrected bodies. Maybe that's what you are thinking about.
