This happened to me in JFK in early January.
We were about to take off and 3 people asked to get off the plane. They had to taxi back to let them off.
Is this a requirement that they let them off the plane if they ask? We ended up getting stuck in JFK for 3 days because they had to cancel the flight due to the duty time of the pilots.

No, once optic nerve atrophy occurs that’s it. The nerve dies and the fibers don’t come back.

You should look into the Argus 2. I don't know if it's approved or if it works for choroideremia, but it works for retinitis pigmentosa. It won't give you vision, but it might allow you some slight ability to read large print books or move around you house a little.

Right but the passengers who asked off my flight. Did the pilots have to let them off? Or could they have said, “sorry were about to take off. We’re leaving now”

Did you ever find out what your back pain was? Was it lower back pain?
