What are the most common reasons hamsters end up in rescues? I was under the impression that they are relatively cheaper to care for than larger pets.

They should also make their employees sign a contract requiring them not to get fat, as that is also a known risk factor forany types of cancer. I'd bet at least half their executive board members are overweight though.

Some of the data we collect on people is, so put it bluntly quite invasive given our ability to link data across many systems. Do you worry about the potential backlash this type of surveillance may produce. What advice would you give to other epi's about transparency in our work?
