That's super funny, but it sounds more like a bit than something that actually happened. Comedians do this all the time. It's like when Louis CK said something like "So I was sitting in a bar, it doesn't matter where because I'm lying."

It's known that a comedians job is to be funny, not to be truthful so unless you have evidence otherwise, I would take most things they say with a grain of salt.
