What is the cost of doing something like this? If you could comment on everything that would be awesome (i.e. airfare costs and other prerequisites).

Thanks for the answer. I've recently been had no motivation in life anymore and was tossing around thoughts of just picking up and leaving to do something like this for a month or two. Probably not Africa, but somewhere similar just colder.
