Do you have freedom to report or say your thoughts on this with impunity, and is there a risk to your safety for reporting on this openly?

Iran was/is blocked from SWIFT as part of a European sanctions regimen. I don't know much about how that decision was made or what was learned about any unintended consequences. Do you happen to know the rationale behind excluding Iran from the system?

Secondly, since there is precedent for this kind of action, what is ultimately stopping the West from teaming up to penalize Russia with this same tool?
