The voice acting and writing is phenomenal in this game, a step above other similar titles in its class. How did you go about getting such great performances and dialogue and why don't other games seem to grasp how important these components are to telling a good story?

Hi Mr. Goddard, thanks for doing this. I unfortunately didn't know your name until Cabin of the Woods, but looking back over your resume I was psyched (although not surprised) that you've written for some of my absolute favorite television programs as well.

My question is about joining a writing team for an already well-established series like Buffy or Angel. What is that experience/process like? Were you a big fan already of those shows? If so, did that help? Did you have to do a lot of research on previous seasons to prepare yourself?

Also, was there a moment in your career you were like, "Okay, I'm probably going to be able to write professionally now and get paid decently enough. Now I feel like I've really "made it" in the industry."...?

Hi Rian, thanks for doing this AMA. Here are my questions:

This is a very complicated screenplay, as are most time-travel stories. How difficult was it to get all the logic and plot structure down, compared to your other works? What was your outlining process like? How many drafts of the script did you go through? How long did it take you to write it overall?

Also, was the concept of telekinetic powers something you always wanted to do, or did it kind of come further along in the process of writing a time-travel movie, as kind of an addition?
