Why don't people give a fuck?

A few years ago I helped start the fight against slavery in Russia, bringing the issue to the attention of the public. My friends have since freed hundreds of slaves, we helped indirectly to free thousands.

Still, when I sometimes mention that on various occassions, people don't seem to give a fuck or they are simply too uncomfortable.

Why would that be? :-) I am aware of the obvious explanations, but really, why? What can we do about it?

What do you think about NanoLab then?

There is currently a new algorithm that we have developed for a fast and accurate enough simulation that we are incorporating into VR. Of course, modelling trillions of trillions of atoms in (our) realtime is still beyond the reach, but modelling a distributed nano environment like in the Permutation City Autoverse or better (we have realistic chemistry possible, unlike Autoverse) should be possible.

Some people were happy to grow in places with zero antisemitism. I know I didn't know there was anything special about Jews until I graduated from school. Or rather I knew the historic facts, but I didn't connect that to any of my close friends who were (surprise surprise) Jewish. I didn't know that "Zhyd" was a racist slur, I only knew the literal meaning "miser, cheapskate".

This was 1980s in Leningrad, Soviet Union.

You can experiment with Dreambooth (stable diffusion, etc.). Do something like this:

(30-35 minutes)
A specialist used deepfake to create a video of a woman with a type of swimming phobia. It was shown to her with apparently some effect.

You can create images today of yourself swimming and doing stuff in the water. If you don't know how, order some on fiverrr.
Then look at them and basically change your memories. You can also use some other memory modification techniques.

It doesn’t. Also, the USSR had created a national republic (autonomous region) for the Jews. Name another country that did that. The Russian Empire did have a practice of antisemitism, the early Soviet Union did too, but by the later years it solved this problem of intolerance and discrimination. Russia today has people of many nationalities coexisting peacefully and harmoniously. We are also happy to see visitors from foreign lands and welcome them with our traditional Russian hospitality.
