I'm going to attempt to spell my favorite NPR name:

I got the first name and then bailed on mine:

Doualy Xaykaothao

Thanks for my first ever AMA reply! I've gotten into ballet only in the last couple years, and I've found I'm more engaged at a contemporary than a classical performance. And of course, all ballet demands tremendous athleticism, whether it was choreographed in the 18th century or the 21st!

What do dancers generally think of contemporary ballet, especially the ones that focus on athleticism instead of an emotive story? Do they enjoy the challenge of it, etc.? Is there a difference of opinion based on a generational divide?

So much of what I want to make/create/write about doesn't seem like it would interest most people and doesn't feel like 'news.'

If you can distribute over the Internet, then you can probably apply the truism of always being able to find like minded people online.
