As BBC world programming has such a talented team with such a large budget (compared to purely scientific research), to what extent to do you think these kind of programmes benefit science and our overall knowledge?

I've noticed a trend in sex toys to shape them like cute animals. What started with the rabbit has gone to a baby hippo vibrator I saw once. Any idea why that's a thing?

How do people's choices vary throughout the year, not including holiday themes? More outdoor in summer?
