Not being able to downvote is the best part. Downvoting is my least favorite aspect of Reddit. It means unpopular opinions get drowned out which is lame. At the AVC there is usually at least an attempt to engage with unpopular opinions civilly. Sometimes, this fails and people get nasty, but I find that to be rarer than at other places.

And you can collapse threads. There is a little button in the top right of every post that lets you collapse. It should look like a minus sign when uncollapsed and a plus sign when collapsed.

If you could do more reviewing instead of the newswire, what would you like to do? Would you do more music or movies reviews, or a specific TV show? Or maybe you would more For Your Considerations, or write a book? I'm curious where your interests lie beyond pop culture commentary.
