What would you have asked it?

The thing about foods like seafood, unpasteurized soft cheeses, and sushi/steak tartare(/other forms of raw meat) is that they are more likely than other foods to give you food poisoning. The reason they tell pregnant women and people in treatment for cancer or with otherwise compromised immune systems not to eat these foods is just because they are more vulnerable to infections from bacteria (like E.coli) and/or the effects could be more devastating (miscarriage for a pregnant lady vs throwing up for a couple of days for you or me). So that means that even if she was eating those foods while pregnant, since nothing happened, the baby should be ok :)
