If you didn't go into comedy, what would you be doing for a living now?

What would happen if you didn't have surgery?

My 8 yr old like to make bags to give to the homeless. Besides food, water, toothbrush, and tooth paste what are other essentials they would need?

We put socks in the winter bags but we live in Houston so it's hot. We didn't do socks for our most recent bags but did sunscreen and bug spray. I looked for underwear at some of the discount store we visited but only found dark colored tshirt and boys underpants. Thanks for the list though. We didn't know if putting toiletries would be worthless (in the grand scheme) and opted for more food instead. My daughter was concerned where they would bathe. We live in the burbs and don't think that there is a shelter nearby. We plan on investigating this week and making a list of soup kitchens and other resources to put in the bags.

Thank you for the reply. She started her charity when she was six. She noticed and asked why people were asking for money. That eventually snowballed into her coloring pictures then selling them to anyone for money and having a bake sale in our front yard during a garage sale. My husband set her up with a tumblr and paypal so some family members could donate.
Others replied to me so we headed to Target and bought some mens underwear so we could add one to each bag. We got a large cup of ice and circled around until she spotted a guy we previously saw on the corner up under the overpass to escape the heat. She wants to make some bags of ice to give out too. Thanks for the info about the letter. She would most definitely do that.
