What do you think can be done to stop this?

While I appreciate the answer, and I do think it's a good one, I meant on a larger scale. Obviously this is happening other places too. Is there something that could be done to combat this on, say, a national level?

Did they teach you how to deal with his special needs? What made you decide to adopt, and why that specific child? Are you glad you did it? How are things going with the two of you?
