We had two clients come into my work just a month or two ago, who were both deaf, who discussed how their son was recently born deaf, and that they were strongly against him getting implants. Doesn't it seem selfish to assume your child would never want to have the ability to hear?

I definitely disagree with it too. They need those early years for their brains to properly wire itself to process hearing. If he grows up and doesn't ever like it, he can always just turn it off!

Sounds like horror movies can't hold a candle light to that!

What do you recommend for someone who has no idea how to find the kind of work that they would like?
