My parents have one of the water dispensers that are used for rabbits. You have to show the dog how to drink from it, but it wouldn't be spilled like a bowl.

I just read through the whole story of what happened, and 1) you are a badass, and 2) thank you so much for not suing them. There are tons of people who would jump on that opportunity and unfortunately probably win.

I still dont agree with you, but like OP said, by them helping with medical bills (for something that was entirely not their fault) they open themselves up to another lawsuit from him where he says "See, if they werent responsible for this they wouldnt have paid my medical bills".

Its a stupid system, I think its really backwards. In a perfect world they would be super nice and give him money for the inconvenience and pain he endured. Unfortunately, we live in a world where people see their injury as a way to make some extra cash.. So, companies have the cover their asses for liability.
