  1. Why isn't Duolingo supporting learning Chinese?

  2. The goal for Duolingo originally was a nice way to human computation (e.g., translate Wikipedia, etc.). I wonder how is this goal realized so far? It seems Duolingo becomes a online education platform now, does it mean it deviates from the original goal?
